Art and Interior Design is my passion. I knew from an early age that I wanted to design interiors. Our environment, whether home or office is important. It should delight our senses, tell a story, be comfortable and be our own.

In my travels I never cease to find inspiration. A favorite destination is Oustau de Baumaniere in Les Baux de Provence. From here I explore the local villages, meet local artists, collect their paintings, and visit the local markets in search of brocante and antiques.
The colors and textures of Provence, the whimsy and imagination, the mixing of old and new are motivating and intriguing.
Artists such as Francoise Valenti from Roussillon, Anne-Marie Ruggeri and Philippe Janin from Bonnieux, Radu Fosca from Gordes, and Jean-François Brahin from Les Baux are always on my galleries to visit list.

Antiquing in Isle sur la Sorgue followed by plein-air painting in lavender fields near Mt. Ventoux with friends Bev and Mariane was a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday.
The French painting class inspired me to pick up my brush again and continue with oils.
A trip to Paris with friend Deborah offered the opportunity to experience
the beautiful environment of the Hotel
de Crillon. This hotel so magnificently appointed is rich with history.

Recently purchased for a client is a painting by Laura Lacambra Shubert found at Stellers Gallery in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.  The piece reminds one of a room in Paris or in a Mas in Provence. Regardless, upon viewing, it takes one across the ocean to Europe.
Henry Von Genk III is another featured artist at Stellers Gallery. His works are gorgeous and remarkable in their detail.
Several trips to Africa have been life renewing. The people, animals and landscapes are unforgettable. Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Jao Camp, and Mombo Camp by architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens, "known for their hand crafted haute couture", are phenomenal environments. The use of imagination and incredible details of these exterior and interior spaces create such tremendous style.
Our daughter is majoring in Fashion Accessory Design at SCAD in Savannah, GA. I enjoy our trips to the South as I find amazing antiques, especially sterling silver and Hawkes glass pieces.
Wherever I travel, I am inspired by the architecture, interior design, colors, fabrics, textures, styles and details.
